Banzai Mini Cycle Park in Anaheim

Anonymous remembers the Banzai Mini Cycle Park ...

Anyone remember Banzai Mini Cycle Park? It was across Walnut from Angel Stadium where a fire training facility is now. Right next to the Santa Ana River. They only allowed bikes of 100 cc's or less if I remember right. I had a Suzuki 90 at the time so I spent some time over there.

  2. Yes I had a Honda SL100 that had a modified upper end that made it loader than most bikes. They would ask me to keep it down due to the noise. Very fun place to ride.

  4. Oh my how I loved going to Banzai Minibike track!! I was 9 yrs. old when I got a little minibike for Christmas. My parents would sit at the picnic tables and watch as my brother an I begrudgingly took turns riding around and around the track. I remember they'd give you orange stickers to put on your helmet and I was so proud of all those stickers. Later we moved on to Escape Country to ride.

  5. I rode at Banzai Cycle Park in 1972 on my TM250. The track was very tight compared to Saddleback Park. I got in one good race with a guy that went there a lot.
