Hi Steve,I couldn't confirm it, but I said I would put it to the readers here and see if anyone can chime in, even though it'll be too late for Jamie's needs.
I'm fact checking an article about the now Ruby's Crystal Cove Shake Shack. Can you confirm that the then Shake Shack opened in the 1940s and introduced date shakes in the 1960s??

Date shakes were certainly sold at the stand in the early fifties and more than likely in the late forties.
ReplyDeleteThey were a favorite of my husbands when we were married in 1951.We lived in Corona del Mar and stopped there often. He was born in Laguna Beach. My grandfather built his CDM beach house in 1922.
