Everyone from school kids, teachers, historians, and residents of past and present visit OCThen.com each day to learn about the history of California's finest county.

What Can You Do?

You don't have to be a professional writer or a historian to write. While we always welcome articles carefully researched, we love to publish the thoughts and memories of each and every Orange County resident, past and present.

Some examples of materials we are looking for:

• Your memories: What do you recall about life in Orange County? Tell us what you remember! Visit our Orange County Memories page.
• Biographies: Is there someone special you know that lived or worked in Orange County? How about writing a biography?
• Tell us about your business: We'd like to compile histories of Orange County businesses. Whether you have a small home business, or you're the CEO of Broadcom, write us a history!
• School Report: did you write a report relating to a piece of Orange County history? Let us publish it here.

How Much Will You Get Paid?

Nothing. We'd rather hear from people who want to share their work and memories for the benefit of others, not the benefit of their bank account.

Type it into an electronic document such as a word processor, or text file (or you could just type it directly into an e-mail).

Then attach the document to an e-mail and send it to us at: contact@octhen.com.

We will review your work for content and publish if appropriate.
