Plan Calls For 4 Motocross Tracks To Be Built In Blimp Hanger.

With the closing of military bases at El Toro and Tustin, comes the question, what will be done with the land that has now become available. While contractors see it as more "Prime" land to build multi million dollar homes, military groups lean towards a military museum that will include preserving the 18 story blimp hangers. This week a group submitted plans to refurbish one hanger and build four motocross tracks. It is now in the hands of Tustin City officials to decide. With many building in the County being designated as historical sites protecting them from demolition, can at least one of these hangers be saved? Orange County sent many brave Marines to fight for our Country, just because the bases were closed does not mean we should tear down our memories!
