I'd come home from school, listen to the "meditation" before the station signed on, then it was Felix the Cat, the Three Stooges, Speed Racer (later Kimba), then -- the jewel in the crown -- The Little Rascals! I watched Hollywood Movie Classics EVERY night, and there I discovered James Cagney, the Dead End Kids, Pat O'Brien, "42nd Street," "The Jazz Singer" ... I thank God for that station and its wonderful influence on me, and all the pleasure it gave my family. The station manager was Bruce Johanson, and he answered all my letters.
